Attend your first scheduled session prepared to complete the prerequisite physical screening, including swim, tread, and brick recovery drills.

At least two dry towels and warm change-of-clothes (such as a sweatshirt) to maintain body temperature between in-water drills.

Valid photo identification (government or school-issued) to confirm your age on Day 1.
Upon successful completion of the course, students earn a nationally recognized lifeguard certification that includes training in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
