We are an official 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to mitigating drowning risks by delivering standardized, OSHA-compliant lifeguard training in Los Angeles that remains consistent with the CDC Model Aquatic Health Code (MAHC) and national safety council requirements.
To enroll in a professional lifeguard training in Los Angeles course, candidates must meet specific age and physical conditioning requirements. The prerequisite evaluation takes place in the pool on Day 1; all physical components must be successfully passed to proceed to the core modules.

Your first day in the water is dedicated to proving your stamina and strength against our standard safety benchmarks.
Under the guidance of expert instructors, you will practice active rescues, submerged recoveries, and team-based spinal injury management.
After passing the final written exam (minimum 80% score), your digital 2-year OSHA-compliant certification is issued, opening the door to employment.

While hiring requirements vary by employer, many aquatic facilities look for candidates with current Lifeguarding, CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications from nationally recognized training organizations.
Upon successful completion of the course, students earn a nationally recognized lifeguard certification that includes training in CPR, AED, and First Aid. The program is designed to prepare participants with the essential knowledge and practical skills required for many professional lifeguarding positions.
